Two New Classes: Magicae Sigils & Witching: The Art of Words.

So much for continuity. One month later.
My head is full of world building and plot points--excitement city--but I would be remiss not to mention I'm teaching two online classes this week. 



 The first is on Friday, May 28th, from 6-8pm online via Zoom. Magicae Sigils: Signed, Sealed and Delivered is a definitive two hour sigil class featuring myself and Sal Santoro, co-owner of The Crooked Path. I'll be teaching the witchcraft side of sigil work, and Sal's gonna dive into the Ceremonial Magick side of it. It's definitely going to be educational and probably somewhat entertaining. The second is on Saturday, May 29th, from 4:00-5:30pm online via Zoom. Witching: the Art of Words is a creative writing workshop where we'll cover Patron Deities of the Creative Arts, Petitioning, Dream Work, Infection, Journeying and Visualization, Magical Journaling, The Importance of Creativity, Drawing / Painting / Symbols / Sigils, Ritual writing space, Setting the Scene, Getting Back to Nature

Bring a notepad/journal and pen.

 This is the last class I'll be teaching for a while. There's something huge in the works that's gonna take up my life for the next year or so. Exciting doesn't begin to touch it.

November 5th Reality Check

In March 2021 I went public with the fact that I pressed charges against Mr. Richard Stanley for Domestic Abuse and Battery in October 2014 after speaking with his then partner who had just pressed charges against him for Domestic Abuse and Battery. Her accounts mirrored my own and were in some ways more horrific. I realized my silence had been enabling him to continue to abuse women so I spoke up. There is a court date for the current set of charges at the beginning of next year. I am making my charges public and have blacked out the names of my parents (one of whom is in hospice right now) and my friends in France who helped me at the time. This is not subversion on my part but rather an attempt to protect them from Mr. Stanley’s internet accomplices who are quite virulent in their trolling and general online harassment. We Burn To Remember

Above, the marker stone erected in 1960. March 16th is always a solemn day. The day is 1244 that 224 martyrs were burned en masse at the fields below the castle of Montsegur. At dawn, the were chained together and led down the mountain. Do not believe they went into the fires singing of their of free will. That is some mumbo jumbo made up by a pseudo-historian about 30 years ago. None of the old dossiers speak of such a thing. The villagers will tell you they have heard the chains rattling on the path to the castle at night. I have heard them myself. If anything it was the ward dogs of God, the Inquisitors, who were singing the Veni Creator Spiritus . And until the early 20th century, this day was celebrated in the village of Montsegur by the townsfolk dragging a cross through the streets to the burning fields.
